Sixth Grade Bookclub
We are very excited about this year's book. We will be reading Clare Vanderpool's MOON OVER MANIFEST, the 2011 John Newbery Medal winner.
We have so many great projects in mind for this book. We will be doing character studies, examining the genre of historical fiction, dissecting the metaphors used in the story, researching the 1918 Influenza pandemic, learning about WWI trench warfare, and so much more.
